Cider Jus; a simple sauce for the season
This is a simple sauce full of the taste of fall. Veggies, roasts and stews all benefit from it's autumnal flavors.
- 1/3 cup Good Quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 3 cups apple cider
- 1/4 cup Herbed Vinegar
- 1 1/2 tbsp Tomato & Parsley Vinaigrette or Herbs de Provence
- Sea salt and White Pepper to taste
Boil apple cider and Vinegar in a saucepan until reduced to 3/4 cup, about 30 min. Whisk in Olive Oil and Tomato & Parsley Vinaigrette or Herbs de Provence. Add Sea salt and White Pepper to taste.
