Blushing Marita, a libation you'll love

Blushing Marita
There is this idea that the day of hearts and flowers is for lovers.  I don't agree.  I roll my eyes when the flower van pulls up.  I think "really?" when he shows up with a heart shaped box of chocolates.  To me Valentine's day is about spending times with the ONES you love, not just your one and only.  In fact, I think any and every day should celebrate the spirit of cherishing all the people who make life worth living.

Blushing Marita, a libation you'll love from Casa Noble Crystal

A couple weeks ago I was gifted a singular bottle of tequila.  The Casa Noble Crystal came with the suggestion to try a Blushing Maria.  On a slushy, rainy February night the two special ladies in my life and I celebrated Valentine.  We decided to make the Blushing Maria but then my sister, Marita, said let's skip sparkling wine, what you've got in that shaker looks good on it's own. So with that we have the amazing "Blushing Marita".

3 oz. Casa Noble Crystal
3 oz. Pomegranate juice
3 oz. Pink grapefruit juice, about the juice of 1 grapefruit
1 oz. Agave Nectar

Combine the tequila, juices and agave nectar in a shaker tin with ice and shake until chilled. Serve in Champagne glasses.
