B.B.Q. Steak Marinade
There is nothing like a barbecued steak. It is the simplest way to put substance style and sensation on a plate. Start this marinade in the morning and it is ready for the grill at the end of your day. Baked potatoes, a simple salad and you are all set for a terrific meal....
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp Midwestern Garden Radish
-
1 cup Tamari
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tsp honey
Place oil, vinegar, soy sauce, mustard, & Midwestern Garden Radishinto a jar. Shake until well mixed and smooth.
Pour over 2 lb of steak (we love this best with a strip steak) in a resealable, plastic bag, and refrigerate several hours.
Preheat the grill for high heat. Brush grate with oil, and place steak on the prepared grill. Cook for 3 to 7 minutes per side, or to desired temperature. Slice to serve.

You should try this marinade with grass fed beef. I have recently switched to eating only grass fed beef and it is simply delicious. Grass fed beef is a healthier alternative to grain fed beef. It is lower in both calories and fat and it is higher in Omega 3 acids amongst other things. If you are interested, check out the La Cense Beef website. They have a wealth of information on the benefits of grass fed beef.
