Easy Guacamole
I love guacamole. I could eat it alone with a spoon. It always seemed an exotic treat, that is until I started making my own. Full of good essential fats, vitamins A & C, this whole food is loaded with 20 different vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients. Now I just have to avoid eating the whole batch in one sitting...everything in moderation.
- 2 ripe avocados (we prefer haas)
- 2 limes
- 1/2 tsp lime zest
- 1/2 tbsp Picante Passion (use more if you like it spicy)
- 1/4 tsp sea salt (optional)
Scoop out the meat and mash. Add the juice and pulp of 2 limes. If you microwave the limes for 30 seconds it will be easier to juice them. Blend in salt, zest and Picante Passion.
Serve with torilla strips, veggies and or crackers.

Yum yum! I learned from a Mexican-American friend that if you keep an avocado pit or two in the guacamole it keeps it from turning brown as quickly
