Cream Cheese Frosting with a nutty twist
- 1 cup (about 8oz) cream cheese or chevre, goats milk cheese (you can also use tofu with 1 tsp lemon juice)
- 1/3 cup Local Honey or Agave Nectar
- 1/2 cup Savoy Coconut Cream (it's dairy free)
- 1/2 tbsp grated lemon rind
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup Desiccated Coconut
- Coconut Flour or arrowroot to thicken to your liking.
Combine all ingredients and frost cooled cake. Double this recipe for layer cakes.
