What's more romantic?
For Many restaurants Valentine's Day rivals, Christmas, New Years, Easter and Thanksgiving. To me there is something sterile about standing around waiting for a table and then being rushed in and out of a meal. To others the mere thought of sitting and being waited on is one of life's true luxuries.

What you shared:
- As a professional chef for many years, and having worked so many Valentine's, NYE and other holidays, I always consider those days the worst to go out to dinner.
In my cynical sense of humor, I consider those days "rookie diner dates" since many people that may go out to splurge for an upscale/nice meal only go out on those days.
I have always found cooking at home for my other half and close friends way more romantic than the hustle and bustle of my profession!
Posted by John Smilanic - Hi Julie,
I feel it is more romantic if there's time, to have a meal prepared at home with ingredients
I have selected. Wine, dessert, etc. With candles and some ambience. I guess that's the
type of answer you wanted.
Smilingly yours,
Anita - Justin Hansen For me, a carefully picked restaurant would be my ideal valentine's day.
