Axler's Smoked Trout Dip
Holiday get together's call for something just a bit over the top. While the idea of smoked trout may be a bit off the beaten path for you, it is a sensational and satisfying way enlighten your festivities.
From the choice fish selected for each hand crafted batch to the hardwoods used in smoking, thought and care is given to every step in the processes at Springfield Smoked Fish. This recipe makes the most of the Idaho trout they fill with flavor.
1 lb. Springfield Smoked Trout
1 lb. processed cheese, cut into 1 in. cubes
1 lb. fresh tomatoes, diced
8 oz. Corn Kernels
4 oz. greeen chiles, diced
1/2 cup chopped Cilantro
Combine Springfield Smoked Trout, cheese, tomatoes, chiles, and corn. Cover and cook in microwave for 4-5 minutes. Stirr and cook another 3 minutes, stirring twice every minute. Stir in Cilantro and serve with your favorite chip or vegetable.
