Marinade that is a delight with Ham
Whether you are serving it for a family dinner or a special celebration, this recipe will make the most of your ham. The two keys are a long marinade time and basting often while the meat cooks. My favorite it cooking it on the grill.
- 1/2 cup ginger ale
- 1 cup orange juice or pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup Chive Blossom or Garlic Vinegar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 tsp Lemon Ginger Curry
- 1/4 cup fresh thyme, chopped
Mix all marinade ingredients. Put ham and marinade in resealable plastic bag. Marinate ham slice a few hours or overnight. Fire up the grill or broiler or even heat in a pan on top of the stove. Cook ham until done and heated through. Baste during cooking.
