Orange Scented Steam Cake with Strawberries

Harvest Cake

Harvest CakeDon't confuse this recipe with any ordinary fruit cake. Harvest Cake is perfect for dessert, a sweet snack, or when paired with coffee or tea. Although it may sound strange, I enjoy this cake sliced thin and toasted as a morning treat. With Heath candy bars and walnuts, Harvest cake is bound to be one of your family's fall-favorites. Looking to add you own flare? Try using pumpkin pie filling instead of apple, or using a combination of the two. Harvest Cake is perfect for your Thanksgiving table. Check out other great Thanksgiving ideas here. Enjoy, or as my YiaYia says, "yassou!"

Preheat oven to 350 Degrees. Grease a 9x13 pan. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and stir until well combined. Batter will be thick. Spoon into the prepared 9x13 pan. Bake 35 minutes or until tester inserted in center comes out clean. Serve with Whipped cream or thawed Cool Whip. For a twist, sprinkle with Harvest Fruit Dip Spice or blend it into the whipped cream or Cool Whip.
