Roasted Pork Shoulder with Apples and Potatoes
Simple Apple Sauce, a recipe for how to cook the flavor of the season

Pork Chops and Applesauce

Pork chops and apple sauce Simple, easy and satisfying describe this dish.  In the summer just throw them on the grill.  Outlook Farm Pork Chops and our 6 spice inspired this twist on a very old favorite.

Soak pork chops in water for one hour.  After soaking rub the chops with 6 spice  and let sit refrigerated for about an hour, or while you are at work.

To Bake: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Place chops in an 8x12 inch baking dish, drizzle with oil. Cover chops with the applesauce. Cover and bake for 30 to 45 minutes.

To Grill:  Brush grate lightly with oil before placing pork chops on the grill. Cook over hot coals for 10 to 12 minutes with the cover on.  Turn once after 7 minutes and top with apple sauce. The chops will be done when the juice runs clear to brown, never red/pink.
