Pomegranate Sauce; a great way to spice up fall roasts
Like cranberries and apples, pomegranates are the color of fall. In season from September through November they represent a fresh flavor for comfort cooking. Full of antioxidants, this super fruit has a sweet tart flavor that accompanies beef, pork and poultry. The addition of Calvados or Apple Brandy compliments the pomegranate while giving the relish a delicious complexity.
