Tomatoes, peppers, beans, squash, melons and herbs are the flavors of summer. The taste of fresh fruits and vegetables is all so much better when fresh picked. In Western Massachusetts we enjoy the luxury of a bounty of farms. However, there in nothing so sweet as enjoying the fruits of your own labor. While avid gardeners began planning at the start of the year, it is not too late to plant a simple kitchen garden of your own.
