Many Reasons to Celebrate!

The start of May offers so many reasons to celebrate.  Warmer, Sunnier Days, The Kentucky Derby, Cinco de Mayo and most importantly Mother's Day. 
 

Mayday I expect the day of the Derby will be spent outside sprucing up the yard around the showroom for a spring face-lift.  Sunny and in the 80's won't leave much energy for a big party but we will try a Maker's Mark Mint Julep and make a batch of Bourbon Balls we will enjoy for desert on Mother's Day.

As the 5th of May falls in the middle of the week we have a simple menu of

(actually I can't decide on the main course)
Shrimp and Black Bean Salad or
very definitely  Spicy Corn Bread
 
 
Our main course for mother's day was inspired by Tucker's Restaurant in Southwick.  They always have poached salmon on the buffet and it is a delicious and fresh alternative to a roast cut of meat.  I have been leaning toward simple meals, so we are going with
 
 
 
 
We will be open for a spring sale this coming Saturday May1st  9am to 5pm If you are interested in stopping by all items will be featured at the wholesale price.  Feel free to place orders on line as well.  (Regular UPS rates will apply)
