The start of May
offers so many reasons to celebrate. Warmer, Sunnier Days, The Kentucky Derby, Cinco de Mayo
most importantly Mother's Day.
I expect the day of
the Derby will be spent outside sprucing up the yard around the showroom
spring face-lift. Sunny and in the 80's won't leave much energy for a
party but we will try a Maker's Mark Mint Julep and make a batch of
Balls we will enjoy for desert on Mother's Day.
5th of May falls in the middle of the week we have a simple menu of
