Fusion Spice Cookies

While chocolate chip cookies are a perennial favorite, it is a nice treat to have something far more subtle.  This recipe makes a perfect after dinner treat, especially when accompanied by a hot toddy.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  Cream sugar, egg and shortening together. Add All Purpose Baking Mix and Chinese 5 Spice. Mix well. Roll teaspoonfuls of dough into balls and roll the balls in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees F for 5 to 6 minutes.
