Worked by Bill, Michael, Kathy and Roxanne Austin, a 144 acre farm in Belchertown is a local gem raising grass fed beef and pork.  Austin Brothers Valley Farm was founded 130 years and five generations ago. It is located near the corner of South Washington and West Street.

This former dairy farm transitioned to farm raised natural beef and pork production in 2006.  Beef is  USDA Inspected, hormone and antibiotic free. Grass fed and grain finished for four months, their meat is pastured as nature intended.  It is then dry aged for 12-21 days for tenderness and taste.  

It is important to keep in mind certified organic only means the animals have been fed organic grain, it does not mean they have lived a pastoral life as those on Austin Brothers Valley Farm.  They are now offering a new meat CSA, where you sign up and receive cuts of meat throughout the year as opposed to vegetables in a traditional CSA.

Chuck — Blade Steaks, Chuck Roast, Chuck Steak
Other — Hamburg, Sausage, Stew Beef

Seasonal Vegetables include;

Sweet corn, pick your own pumpkins and gourds

Fresh brown eggs
