Crazy Horse Monument - Without a doubt the most interesting place we have stopped. While assisting on Mt Rushmore a Boston man was invited by the Dakota Tribe to build a monument to Crazy Horse. Today his wife & children carry on his work. When it is done it will be 3 dimensional & carved out of a mountain. They have never taken public funds. Dogs are welcome to enjoy the monument too. This family from San Fransico are some of the nicest people we have met.
